The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Mzansi Chapter is a dynamic, inclusive community dedicated to connecting, supporting, and empowering women in aviation across South Africa. We bring together aviation professionals, students, and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, united by a shared passion for aviation and a commitment to uplifting one another.

Women remain significantly underrepresented within the aviation industry, and WAI Mzansi exists to help support those women. Through advocacy, targeted events, and access to scholarships and professional development opportunities, we actively work to remove barriers to entry, growth, and leadership for women in aviation.
